I’ve always had a little crush on mustard yellow. When I saw these shorts I fell in complete love. Obviously the question came to mind. Kristin, do you really need these? It’s the middle of January in Michigan, But how can you resist them they’re too adorable and are the best fit. Heres a few Instagrams from my life lately.  Of course food, Christmas, Baby Millie, Matty and some Crystals I received from a few of my clients. (love them!) As bloggers I feel we really try so hard to capture the  perfect moment. The perfect walk the perfect head tilt the perfect purse angle. I love the fact that you can share your special moments (that aren’t planned) and they truly mean the world. Like the Fanta and Coke picture above that was when Matt and I were traveling back and forth to families houses for Thanksgiving and when I had the realization that wow I love this boy and this is all that I’ve ever wanted. Honestly just driving around with a guy I completely adore and drinking Cane Sugar filled Fanta and Coca- Cola talking about aliens or something… (hahaha) But for real..

I love that you can tie memories into these photos and I will cherish every single one forever because each one has a significant memory behind it.

Sometimes theres items that I see in a store and they seem to magically end up in my closet. This dress was one of those things. I couldn’t help but to feel extremely “Cutsey” but sophisticated when I first tried it on. I feel like this dress will take the place of a couple “little black dresses” It will be a great dress for any type of occasion and will look beautiful throughout each season.

Goals for 2013

be joyful be great.

I am one of those goal setter junkies that get upset when I don’t accomplish it by the New Year. I always seem to set more materialistic things which will never make you feel completely satisfied because in human nature we always want more and more. Like making the decision to cut out dairy, lose this about of weigh or wanting a new wardrobe. This year I decided to make a different set of goals instead of materialist things I decided to make the decision to just be happy. Change my way of thinking, and live by these phrases.

Love them more expect less.

Jealousy comes from counting others blessings instead of their own.

Let your faith be bigger than your fear.

The more you love your decisions the less you need others to love them.

Be so good, they can’t ignore you.

Never look down on someone unless you’re helping them up.

Be kind to unkind people, they need it the most.

Talking about our problems is our greatest addiction. Break the habit. Talk about your joys.

Your mind is everything. What you think, you become.

Do it with passion or not at all.

Lately I’ve had a little obsession with anything polka dots from my pajamas, shoes, to my skirt. I was so excited when I opened up this skirt on christmas morning. It has a perfect fit and is the perfect length, I immediately started taking notes in my head what my next blog post would look like. For some reason I felt this top would be perfect.
