Saying Yes

Guys, Since this will probably be my most memorable post, well ever... I need to make it good! I thought I'd share with you our proposal.. YES, PROPOSAL! Matt and I got engaged last Wednesday night and holay molay it will be one of the best memories that I get to carry with me forever. It is such a gift knowing that I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend.. I am so thankful for that! I don't think I've ever been on such a high for so long. Ahhh!! I'm so so so happy! Well, now that you know my excitement level lets get into the story!

My Parents host a meeting every month at their home, and my dad usually does a two-hour talk. (On Personal Development and Growth) Every month we pick someone that is an avid guest and this month it was Matt! So he was explaining what that he does Marketing and E-commerce Specialist at Supply Geeks and shows this intro video to his site.. Then he explains that,"Now that's more of my work life, but switching more to a personal side of me.. I have another video." It was a slideshow of us to the song Endlessly and guys, there came the waterworks..

Now pause there for a minute I have to explain something.. There are many reasons why Matt is such a good man. First of all, he's always putting me first no matter what it is.. (he inspires me to do the same.) He is completely selfless, anything he/we do I can tell that the thought in his mind is "What's Kristin going to think about this.." Seriously people I found a real keeper.. God truly blessed me with an amazing man. So my reasoning for saying that is because he talked to my Daddy before proposing to me, he asked for my hand but he planned the proposal with my Dad. My Daddy and I are mega close he's my best friend so the fact that my two favorite men got together, talked and shared this experience with me is a dream come true.. If anyone had asked me what your dream proposal is, I would have said "I'd love for my Daddy and Matt to both be involved" That's one of the bajillion reasons why Matt is a keeper.

Also, My grandparents were there. My Daddy's parents as well and my Mom's Mom! They were able to see the entire thing, and they were just as shocked as I was!! So guys, Another reason why he is a keeper! I would have loved to have Matt's family there as well, but Matt thought if our entire family were there it would have given it all away... But it's okay; they get a video of the entire thing! ;)

So back to the story, after the song and video ended he brought me up in-front of everyone and said a bunch of very cute things (which made me cry more) then got down one knee and proposed.. He says I was saying yes before he even had a chance to ask.. I could defiantly see that being true, it all seems like a very happy blur to me!

So guys, that is our proposal I can't even begin to tell you how excited we are! Every time I look down at my hand I still get a bit light headed I can't believe this is really my reality! That was the day I've been looking forward to for a long time, and it happened and was absolutely perfect! God has blessed me in so many ways I'm so overwhelmed with all the support from our Family and Friends.. We are a very very very blessed couple.
